The Garden Hose

Imagine a sprinkler out in your garden watering all your plants. That sprinkler is attached to a hose that is attached to a water source. Now, imagine a kink in the hose. What happens? Over time your plants begin to wilt because they are no longer getting the water they need to thrive. So, what’s the solution? You can handle this one of two ways: You can get a watering can, fill it up, and individually water each plant until it has enough water, OR you can un-kink the hose. The wilting plants are just an effect or a symptom of an underlying cause, the kinked hose. The solution is simple, un-kink the hose!
Chiropractic works the same way: it finds and treats kinks in your nervous system that interfere with the information sent to and from your brain. While chiropractic almost always helps to greatly reduce or eliminate symptoms, it is accomplished by treating the cause and not by merely masking the symptom.
